Nobody in their right mind can have ill feelings towards the medical profession. Doctors, nurses and medical professionals in general are out there helping people and saving lives every day, and sometimes they do so at great personal expense and risking their own health.
But there are cases where medical professionals do more harm than good, cases of clinical negligence. This is a slap in the face to all medical practitioners, but is unfortunately real. We all probably know cases of people who have been harmed in some way by this. There are the almost urban legend cases of people who went in for a leg amputation and had the wrong leg amputated, or people who were to have surgery on one part of the body and had it on a completely different one.
But there are other cases, less known, but that are slightly more common. When you feel that you’re entitled to compensation due to clinical negligence, don’t try to take matters into your own hands. Making a large fuss out of it will lead to the professionals clamming up. Contact a solicitor immediately and let them carry out the case. Leaving it to the professionals is the best choice.
